Coming from one of our winery direct producers, the Mercurey is hands down an under the radar winner. You rarely see this appellation on the shelf. Ruby red in color, showing pure fruit with spices that round out your palate with a balanced mouth feel.
Romain and Jean Guillaume Chapuis, are thirty-years-young, brothers from Pommard. Trained under Philippe Pacalet (nephew of Marcel Lapierre). They practice classic Burgundian techniques and use very little SO2, minuscule additions just so the wines can travel the ocean.
