The growing popularity of Aligoté has been evident and well received. Coming to us from one of our winery direct producers, this is a very cerebral wine. It's attitude is not retrospective of the price tag. I would tell you that this wine is not a pop & pour variety and deserves decanting and even a day in bottle to reach full potential.
Romain and Jean Guillaume Chapuis, are thirty-years-young, brothers from Pommard. Trained under Philippe Pacalet (nephew of Marcel Lapierre). They practice classic Burgundian techniques and use very little SO2, minuscule additions just so the wines can travel the ocean.
