A great alternative to Chardonnay and Sav Blanc!
This particular wine is what many people would acknowledge as peak white wine. Living in the Hermitage family, it is known to have roots in Northern Rhone France but is not limited to the region, as many producers have cultivated it now in California and Australia. This Marsanne could be considered a great alternative choice for Chard and Sauvignon Blanc drinkers. It can easily be paired with creamy dishes, but can also accompany a simple and tasty dish like a steamed lobster.
