This fine wine is a creation of the famous trio: François Villard, Yves Cuilleron, and Pierre Gaillard. These three well-respected winemakers, driven by curiosity, decided to test the limits of the Rhone region back in 1996. And viola, a success! This wine, from a single vineyard, meaning the cream of the crop selection, accentuates a great mid-body Syrah. It yields ripe fruit flavors in the grapes like dark berry fruit, black pepper, violets, and licorice, bringing a subtle but memorable level of acidity. Known to come from the Rhone region in between the Northern and Southern regions, it offers a great combination of both appellations. An over-deliverance of quality for the price!
