"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has an inky purple color to the rim and represents a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot. Gloriously pure notes of mulberry, graphite, blackberry and blueberry soar from the glass and cascade over the palate. The wine is full-bodied, there is nary a hard edge to be found in this opulent, velvety texture, pure, rich, stunning Cabernet Sauvignon. It finishes impressively, and the wine is capable of lasting 15-20 years, although it’s certainly accessible now. (RP)" (12/2015)

"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is deep, plush and inviting, with a rush of fruit that takes hold of all the senses. Voluptuous and super-expressive, the 2013 is sure to find many fans. Inky blue and purplish fruit, spices, mint and white pepper are all laced together in a sumptuous, inviting wine. Mocha, plum and blueberry jam are some of the notes that grace the supple, open-knit finish. This is an especially accessible Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, but I doubt there will be too many complaints about that. (AG)" (10/2015)
